Fruit Day  - Pre-Primary Section (SJA)

Fruit day was celebrated in the Pre-Primary Section as a part of our annual activities.  A few chosen children came dressed as various fruits.  They were very well prepared.  Children were asked to recognise the fruits and their colours.  The participants also spoke a few words on the fruit they were dressed as.  The children were asked to bring fruits for their tiffin.  It was a lovely experience for all the children.

Parent's Day  -  Pre-Primary Section (SJA)

Sr.KG students celebrated Parents day on 26th July 2016.  It was a surprise for the parents.   The children made a card for their parents and wished them "Happy Parent's Day",  they handed over their cards to their parents.
Parents were very happy and overjoyed to see their little ones creativity as they accepting the card.

Personality Development Seminar

Loreto Convent School organized a seminar on Personality Development for students of std 10 and 9 on the 2nd and 9th of July respectively.
Theses sessions were conducted by Farther Mervin who helped the students see deep within themselves and understand their skills and talents. Through the example of a butterfly he wonderfully explained that without struggle in your life you cannot become strong and make your own identity. He also helped them understand how God is always with us and helps us by guiding us like a lantern towards a better life.
The story and proverbs helped them understand that they should never loose the smile on their face and always have a positive approach and  keep trying again and again till they succeed. They also understood the true meaning of friendship, love and happiness.
Truly the seminar helped all the students to have a brand new vision of themselves and sharpen their skills for a better life ahead.

On the 3rd of February, 2016 class X was given a farewell party which was  hosted by the students of std IX.  The girls of class X were all decked up in colourful sarees with matching accessories. The students  of class IX welcomed the girls with a peppy dance number.  The much awaited 'Miss Loreto Contest' was conducted after this performance.  The close competition and sportsmanship of the girls made this contest even more girls made this contest even more lively.  Ms Sana Shaikh was crowned "Miss Loreto" winning all the four rounds of the contest.

A farewell lunch was also served for the girls of class X.

We are indeed thankful to the teachers and students of Std IX for making this day truly memorable.

This party was certainly a well deserved break for the students of class X who have been preparing hard for the upcoming Board Exams.
