Extra Curricular Activities

Schooling > Activities

At Loreto Convent special attention is given to develop the student’s personality, initiative, originality and a sense of national integration through creative co-curricular activities individually and in groups. There is a blend of academics, values based education, co-curricular activities and sports, which we believe is essential for the all round development of the child. Girls are encouraged to take part in such activities which are held periodically.

To spread an awareness of Indian Classical music to the young generation, Mrs. Meera Narayangaonkar, (Co-Director of Deepak Music Academy) conducts Hindustani Classical Music classes for the students of Loreto Convent School. This extra curricular activity at Loreto Convent School was started several years back where students are trained in classical vocal and electronic keyboard. All those who take keen interest are sent up for the seven year degree course of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva University which is recognized all over India.
