The children of class I and II had an opportunity to visit a farm house as a part of their school curriculum. The educational trip to the farm house was at Keshav Shrushti which is located in Bhayandar (W).
The children reached the venue at 10 a.m. which was followed by breakfast.They were given a brief introduction about the places they would visit during the day. They first visited the cow shed where the resource person explained them the importance of cowdung being used as a manure and biogas. They then proceeded towards different plantations like chillies, banana, maize and a nursery.
A demonstration was conducted on how to do tree plantation and the children were given first hand experience of making a scarecrow.
The children had a wonderful time with their friends ; a time which was away from the classroom atmosphere ; time which they spent with the NATURE!
They enjoyed the icecream that was served at the dispersal.
They left the venue at about 3:00 p.m and reached the school premises by 5.30 p.m.
